About the role

Lead and coordinate administrative and clerical operations within the Paediatric Outpatient Department. Oversee staff, manage clinic scheduling and data quality, and support continuous improvement, training and service efficiency across outpatient services.

Key duties of the role

  • Oversee daily administrative operations and staff supervision
  • Maintain and manage clinic templates and appointment scheduling and daily workflow coordination
  • Ensure quality data entry, accurate reporting and documentation across patient information systems
  • Collaborate with clinicians, nursing and  allied health teams to optimise outpatient service delivery
  • Support training, performance and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating administrative or clerical teams in a health or complex service setting
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills with a focus on collaboration
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient administration systems
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and operational demands
  • Knowledge of SA Health systems, quality standards and confidentiality requirements
