About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join the Cardiovascular Research Centre at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. In this role, you will be at the forefront of cardiovascular research, contributing to both basic and clinical studies that advance understanding and treatment in the field. Your work will involve the initiation, performance, and analysis of research projects, providing valuable insights that help shape patient care and future medical innovations.

In addition to your research responsibilities, there may be opportunities to engage in clinical work, supporting patient care within the Department of Cardiology. You will work alongside a collaborative team of researchers, clinicians, and support staff in a dynamic and supportive environment, where your contributions are recognised and valued. This is a unique opportunity to combine scientific inquiry with meaningful clinical impact, all while developing your skills and expertise in cardiovascular medicine.

About You

You are a motivated and professional Medical Practitioner, committed to delivering safe, high-quality care while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You take pride in your clinical competence and are keen to grow your skills in a supportive healthcare environment.

  • Holds MBBS or equivalent, with eligibility for general registration with the Medical Board of Australia and current Basic Life Support (BLS) training.

  • Demonstrates strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to prioritise, plan, and evaluate patient care effectively.

  • Excellent communicator with integrity, adaptability, and a commitment to teamwork, quality improvement, and safe practice.

  • Knowledgeable about patient rights, medico-legal responsibilities, and demonstrates a willingness to accept feedback and continually develop professionally.
