Overview:

  • The Assistant Project Officer is part of the Networks team, Consumer and Clinical Partnerships, and reports to the Clinical Networks Portfolio Manager. The Assistant Project Officer position contributes to the successful delivery of Statewide Clinical Networks and a range of projects and initiatives that contribute to better healthcare for all South Australians.
  • This position includes roles in project and secretariat support, research, data management and analysis, report writing and written correspondence.
  • The Assistant Project Officer provides quality and efficient administrative support that contributes to the operations of the Statewide Clinical Networks and completion of projects being led by the CEIH.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
  • A ‘Working with Children’s Clearance (DHS) is required

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

  • Out of hours work may be required.
  • A current SA motor vehicle driver’s licence is essential.
