1.0 FTE

Staff are invited to express interest in undertaking this role and must be available for 3 weeks, from 03/11/2025 - 09/01/2026

The Administration Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • The Administrative Coordinator is one of a team of Coordinators in the Division responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of administrative services to support effective client service delivery.
  • The Coordinator works cooperatively to ensure a consistent and streamlined approach to the delivery of administrative services that is consistent with corporate procedures and SA Health policies.
  • The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that administrative staff in their team understand their role   and the standards expected, and will provide ongoing feedback, support and training.
  • Through providing a high quality confidential administrative service to the Regional Team Manager of their region, the Coordinator will contribute to effective service delivery outcomes.
  • Experience in recruitment and selection, staff supervision, performance review, and allocation of tasks to ensure equitable workloads
  • Coordinating and processing high volumes of administrative tasks and correspondence

Educational/Vocational Qualifications

  • Nil

Personal Abilities/Aptitudes/Skills:

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to negotiate with a broad range of people, both internally and externally
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and use initiative to solve problems
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to deal effectively with a range of tasks simultaneously
  • Proven ability to work effectively with limited direct supervision and contribute positively as part of a team
  • Proven ability to analyse, evaluate and supply information to support administrative operations and
  • general work unit directions
  • Ability to keep clear, accurate administrative and financial records and maintain and improve systems
  • Sound computing skills, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience

  • Experience with records management and administration systems, including computer based
  • information systems
  • Experience in recruitment and selection, staff supervision, performance review, and allocation of tasks
  • to ensure equitable workloads
  • Providing a high level confidential administrative support service
  • Coordinating and processing high volumes of administrative tasks and correspondence

Knowledge

  • Understanding and commitment to quality customer service concepts
  • Knowledge of the principles and practice of Work Health and Safety, Equal Opportunity, the Public Sector Act 2009 Code of Ethics and diversity appropriate to the requirements of the position
