As a Residential Carer (Trainee), you'll receive hands-on training while making an impact on the quality of life for residents at Tumby Bay Aged Care and Uringa Hostel. You'll be supported every step of the way by a friendly, inclusive team — and at the end of your traineeship, you’ll earn a nationally recognised Certificate III in Aged Care, setting you up for a fulfilling career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily personal care, including bathing, grooming, and continence management
• Support residents with mobility and the use of mechanical aids
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, including maintaining personal possessions and cleaning equipment
• Help residents with communication aids like glasses and hearing aids
• Transport residents and assist with special care needs
• Support with medication administration under medical authority
• Assist with routine treatments and provide valuable input into client assessments
