The Director, Business Transformation is a key leadership role within DHSA reporting to the Chief Digital Health Officer, and is responsible for ensuring projects within the DHSA portfolio and new initiatives align to the Digital Health Strategy and Enterprise Architecture.  The Director provides support to Project Managers in ensuring projects are appropriately resourced, ensures overall integrity and coherence, oversees the Program Management Office and all in-flight projects, reports progress to the appropriate boards and committees and contributes to Project Boards, and provides high-level and expert advice on system-wide strategic projects for the SA Health.

Embedding an ethos of innovation and strong engagement throughout the portfolio will be of critical importance in this role.  We are seeking a strong and effective communicator, influencer and negotiator with proven ability to lead change programs, motivate and develop high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams, and establish excellent working relationships and continuing positive interaction with critical stakeholders.

Expert financial skills are expected to predict and report trends and manage budgets in accordance with internal governance processes. Sound quality and performance management skills are required to oversee external service providers, consultants, contractors, vendors and partners.  Strong strategic and analytical problem-solving abilities will be essential in conceptualising problems and formulating and executing appropriate solutions.

Classified at the SAES 1 level, this role will offer immense job satisfaction for the appointee and the opportunity to contribute to the achievement of the DHW’s strategic objectives now and into the future. Appropriate tertiary and/or post-graduate qualifications are expected.

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
