About the role

As a Pathology Collector – Regional, you will be an important part of SA Pathology’s frontline team, providing professional and compassionate care to patients while ensuring the accurate and timely collection of pathology specimens. Reporting to the local Laboratory Manager, you will deliver exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians and stakeholders, ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of SA Pathology. Your role will directly support the delivery of efficient and high-quality laboratory services that contribute to positive patient outcomes across the region.

In this role, you will perform a variety of essential duties including specimen collection, labelling, transportation and documentation in line with established protocols and procedures. You will demonstrate a commitment to patient care, safety and confidentiality while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment, you will help uphold SA Pathology’s reputation for excellence in service, quality and patient-centred care across the regional community.

  • Technical & Systems Knowledge
    Experience in pathology or laboratory settings, with an understanding of laboratory operations, information systems and data entry processes.
