Join Our Team as a Facility & Grounds Officer – Keep Our Health Service Running Smoothly

Play an essential role in maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment for patients, staff, and visitors at our health facility.

About the Role:

As a Facility & Grounds Officer, you’ll be responsible for general maintenance of both the interior and exterior areas of the health unit. Your work will include a variety of tasks such as rubbish collection, basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical repairs, and grounds upkeep.

This role is ideal for someone with practical skills and a proactive approach who takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, presentation, and functionality across the facility.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Trade qualifications or trade equivalent skills in a relevant trade.
  • Proven experience in building and ground maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of a wide range of power tools.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
