About the Role

Join a dynamic and supportive triage team as a Clinical Nurse, providing a high-quality nursing service accepting referrals from a variety of health service settings. This role allows you to build on your experience and further your professional development as you progress from a competent to a proficient practitioner, making a real difference to patient care.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will take accountability for your own practice and support the guidance and development of less experienced staff. You will also have the opportunity to manage portfolio responsibilities aligned with your career development plan, allowing you to shape your role while contributing to the growth and excellence of the team.

About You

You are a skilled and experienced nurse, committed to delivering high-quality care while supporting and leading others in a collaborative environment.

  • Registered Nurse with current registration and a minimum of three years post-registration experience, demonstrating competence in your area of practice.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with experience guiding enrolled nurses, and less experienced colleagues.

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and work with creativity, flexibility, and initiative.

  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, professional standards, ethics, quality improvement systems, and contemporary nursing and healthcare issues.

  • Strong understanding of aged care pathways and their challenges, who can apply this knowledge in a triage role to ensure timely, appropriate, and person-centred care coordination.
