About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Aged Care and Disability team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the provision advanced clinical services, leadership, and coordination of Occupational Therapy within the General Medical inpatient units. The incumbent brings specialised expertise in managing patients with cognitive impairments such as dementia and delirium, as well as individuals with disabilities who are supported through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Working in conjunction with our other Occupational Therapy staff and health professionals, the Senior Clinician optimises patient functional outcomes and health status in this specialty area. As a highly skilled and experienced clinician, the incumbent delivers evidence-based, person-centred care and provides clinical leadership within acute hospital services.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with Occupational Therapy Australia.
