About the Role:

As an Assistant Human Resources Consultant, you’ll play an important role in delivering professional, timely, and high-quality HR support across a range of people and culture functions. Working closely with HR Consultants and managers, you’ll provide guidance on recruitment and selection, classification management, industrial relations, training and development, HR governance and compliance, and work health and safety. You’ll also assist with HR project work, maintain effective administrative systems, and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR practices and processes. This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their HR expertise, build strong professional relationships, and make a tangible impact by supporting staff and leaders across the organisation.

About You:

  • Experience in providing an advisory and/or operational services on human resource management matters in a diverse environment, including researching and analysing information and preparing reports.
  • Possess an understanding of contemporary HR practices and approaches, human resource management and procedures and their application with the SA Public Sector, including awards, guidelines, EB Agreements and Codes of Practice, OHS&W, EEO and performance management processes and quality improvement principles and procedures.
