Join Our Team as an Administration Officer – Deliver Exceptional Support and Service Every Day

Be the welcoming face and reliable backbone of the Riverland General Hospital, providing high-quality, confidential, and customer-focused administrative support to clients, staff, and visitors.

About the Role:

As an Administration Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service within the hospital. You’ll assist with client enquiries both in person and over the phone, coordinate appointments, manage correspondence, and maintain professional and efficient front-of-house support.

You’ll also be responsible for providing timely and accurate administrative assistance, including word processing, data entry, record management, and coordination with other health units and community services. Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times, you’ll help ensure seamless communication and organisation across the service.

In this role, you’ll contribute to a positive and safe workplace by adhering to policies, supporting quality improvement activities, and upholding infection control and cultural awareness standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A high level of competency in the use of computers, work processing and office administration processes and procedures.
  • Experience in providing administrative & clerical support services.
  • Sound word processing and data entry skills.
