About the role: 

Reporting to the Co-Director (Operationally) EDONM (Professionally), some of your duties for the role will include:

  • Acts as a consultant to state/national nursing programs
  • Collaborate with health industry, community groups, professional bodies and private and public sector health providers at regional, state and national level
  • Provide high level advice to stakeholders and health services on the management of contemporary nursing and paediatric and neonatal issues relating to research
  • Oversee human resource systems implementation including processes and standards of nursing staff recruitment, performance, development and retention
  • Provide professional nursing advice and leadership to: Level 3 and 4 nurses

About you:

  • Registered Nurse with at least 5 years post registration experience
  • Experience in managing large numbers of staff from various multidisciplinary backgrounds
  • Demonstrated flexibility, innovation and creativity which can be applied to the hospital setting, particularly in regards to the provision of nursing services
  • Experience as a leader or manager in the health care industry
