About the Role

As a Clinical Trials Centre Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the coordination and delivery of clinical research within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). Working closely with the Clinical Trials and IP Officer, you will help ensure the smooth operation of clinical trial applications and provide essential support to the Clinical Trials Centre. Your work will contribute to advancing medical research and improving health outcomes for patients through the delivery of high-quality, ethical and efficient clinical trials.

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll assist with the preparation, review and management of clinical trial documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures and timelines. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of researchers, clinicians and stakeholders to facilitate seamless processes across the research journey. About You

You are a proactive and organised professional who thrives in a dynamic healthcare research environment. With strong communication and administrative skills, you work collaboratively to support clinical trials and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • You have proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines under pressure.

  • You bring well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with experience liaising across multidisciplinary teams and engaging with a variety of stakeholders.

  • You possess strong administrative and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, data management, and maintaining accurate records and information systems.

  • You have knowledge of Human Research Ethics, quality improvement principles, and medical terminology, supporting compliance and high-quality research outcomes.
