Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement

At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3 year contract.

About the role

As an Accredited Advanced Trainee in Radiation Oncology you will undertake specialist training as outlined by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), the academic body responsible for setting the standards of the training and assessment required to allow registration as a Radiation Oncologist. 

The Radiation Oncology Advanced Trainee plays a pivotal role in providing clinical management for patients, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care in line with the objectives and principles of SA Health. This commitment extends to both inpatient and ambulatory care, research, education, and teaching.

About You

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated medical professional with a strong commitment to excellence in radiation oncology and collaborative patient care.

  • MBBS or equivalent and eligible for registration with the SA Medical Board, with 2 years post-graduate training

  • Demonstrated high standard of clinical practice and professional integrity

  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment

  • Commitment to quality improvement, adaptability, and knowledge of clinical standards and protocols
