As the Medical Liaison Officer, you will provide vital administrative and coordination support to the Regional Director of Medical Services and medical staff across the network. You will play a central role in ensuring effective medical workforce operations, supporting recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, rostering and staff communication. Working in a multidisciplinary environment, you will help ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality support for all medical officers. This is your opportunity to take on a key administrative and support role within a welcoming health service committed to excellence in medical workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate medical rosters, credentialing, onboarding and orientation for medical officers.
  • Support recruitment and retention of consultants, junior doctors, locums and international medical graduates.
  • Maintain accurate employment files, timesheets, registrations, visas and mandatory documentation.
  • Provide ongoing liaison, problem-solving and administrative support to medical staff across the network.

Our organisation

We serve a population of over 67,000 people in the Limestone Coast, as well as residents from Western Victoria. We employ over 1400 people, with 1.2% identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and we are also supported by a team of approximately 600 hardworking volunteers.
