  • Base Salary Range: $125,183 - $130,779 p.a (pro rata)
  • In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading, Zone Allowance and once off Incidental Payment (conditions apply), Professional Development Allowance, and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

About the Role:

The Sunrise EMR Optimisation Lead is responsible for the management, delivery, and evaluation of optimisation and improvement initiatives for the Sunrise EMR program across the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network (FUNLHN). This pivotal role focuses on driving system integration, clinician engagement, and the continuous enhancement of digital health processes to support safe, efficient, and high-quality care delivery. You will provide expert advice, strategic guidance, and hands-on leadership in improving program utilisation and consistency in clinical documentation, ensuring the platform supports optimal patient outcomes.

In this role, you will collaborate with clinicians, administrative teams, and other key stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, implement solutions, and oversee education and support for staff interacting with Sunrise EMR. The position also ensures compliance with best practice standards and statutory reporting requirements, contributing to the integrity and reliability of inpatient and outpatient data. By combining technical expertise with clinical insight, you’ll help shape a digitally connected, patient-centred health system that drives excellence across FUNLHN.

About You:

  • Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated competence in the use of Sunrise EMR system.
  • Experience in management and leadership roles.
  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation.

  • This is a part time vacancy, working 64 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
