The ePCR Digital Communications Advisor is responsible for coordinating various elements of SAAS’s internal and external communications related to the Electronic Patient Care Record (ePCR) project and implementing digital strategies onto different communication platforms across the organisation. Whilst working closely with the ePCR Change and Engagement Manager and ePCR Communications Lead to coordinate and implement communications and engagement projects, including all key stakeholder communication requirements.

This role is based in the Adelaide CBD. While flexible working arrangements are supported, successful delivery of the outcomes associated with this role will require the selected candidate to attend the workplace in person a majority of the time.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement proactive communication strategies for the ePCR project using various channels and tools to achieve project objectives
  • Create and edit ePCR communications content including newsletters, fact sheets, feature articles, bulletins and promotional materials for internal and external audiences
  • Coordinate strategic communications activities across SAAS, liaising with managers and executives to engage the workforce and ensure compliance with government and SA Health communication policies
  • Support ePCR Change and Engagement team goals through stakeholder consultation, secretariat services for committees, and delivering change management communication processes
  • Manage media and communications liaison activities including conducting interviews, developing key talking points, responding to media queries and identifying opportunities to enhance SAAS profile
  • Handle ministerial and government communications by researching queries from executive offices, preparing briefings and speeches, and ensuring accurate responses within strict deadlines
