About the Role

Join a high-performing colorectal unit and shape advanced surgical care across TQEH. You’ll deliver laparoscopic, robotic and endoscopic services, build research impact, mentor future clinicians and help maintain safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

• Deliver complex colorectal surgery incl laparoscopic and robotic cases
• Provide emergency surgical cover via roster
• Lead patient care across consult, theatre and procedures
• Drive data audit, outcomes review and research growth
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors and students
• Collaborate with MDT, ED, wards and outpatient teams

About You

You’re a skilled colorectal surgeon ready to lead, teach and advance care in a collaborative public hospital setting.

• MBBS or equivalent with AHPRA specialist registration
• FRACS or equivalent; CSSANZ accreditation eligibility
• Expertise in colorectal, laparoscopic and colonoscopy
• Lead research, audit and quality improvement
• Mentor teams; communicate, decide and collaborate well
