About the role: 

Reporting to the Network Clinical Director, Medicine Cardiac & Critical Care, some of your duties for the role will include:

  • Budget preparation, monitoring and reporting and adherence to resources allocations
  • Supporting the Deputy Directors with specific projects on behalf of the Clinical Director
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including the Business Manager, SALHN CEO, COO and Executive Directors, Workforce (HR)/Work cover and Finance Departments (Shared Services), Consumer Advocate Services
  • Supervising the day-to-day activities of the divisional administrative officer by maintaining administrative workflow
  • Providing the Clinical Director and Co-Director with a confidential efficient administrative and executive officer role

About you:

  • Recent experience working within an administrative area, preferably within a health setting
  • Experience establishing, maintaining and improving office administrative systems and process, including financial and record keeping systems
  • High level of interpersonal skills, particularly in liaising with external stakeholders, building relationships with all levels of internal staff, and in managing staff
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and without supervision planning and ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Researching/ investigating, analysing information, formulating suitable solutions and preparing reports and correspondence on complex issues
