As our Senior Partnership and Engagement Officer, you will play a key leadership role in shaping how BHFLHN listens, collaborates and partners with the people and communities we serve. WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

Our network is made up of many sites, that run from Gawler in the North to Kangaroo Island in the South, we have access to offices in the middle of the CBD, and some of our locations offer hot desk arrangements.  We will work with you to ensure a suitable location or locations are made available to you across one or many of our sites.   You will also have the option to spend some time each week working from home.  This will be negotiated with you should you be successful.

  • Are you an exceptional communicator, able to engage confidently with diverse groups, including community members, senior leaders, and people with lived experience?
  • Do you bring initiative, empathy and a commitment to BHFLHN’s values, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to influence positive change?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

  • Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of BHFLHN’s consumer and community engagement frameworks, plans and activities.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with consumers, HACs, community groups, government agencies and key stakeholders.
  • Support and strengthen the capability of Consumer Representatives and HACs through training, induction, governance support and ongoing engagement.
  • Coordinate and track engagement activities across BHFLHN, ensuring alignment with best practice, national standards and organisational priorities.
  • Provide strategic advice on inclusive engagement approaches, including methods for reaching vulnerable and diverse populations.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, briefings and committee documentation, and support continuous improvement through research, evaluation and innovation.
