  • Salary: AHP2 - $91,785.00- $106,330.00p.a. + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits
  • 10% Attraction and Retention Allowance, and penalty rates payable in addition to the base salary
  • Full course fees reimbursed - per study unit on successful completion
  • Adelaide SA, 5000; Daw Park SA, 5041; Berri SA, 5343; Murray Bridge SA, 5253
  • Multiple Full Time, Permanent Roles available commencing early 2026

About the role

In a Sonographer Training position, you will be part of a dedicated imaging team committed to providing safe, high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across a range of clinical settings. As an additional member of the team, you will work under professional supervision, supported by Advanced Clinical Educators. You will partake in a comprehensive training program which is aligned with your approved Medical Sonography course.

In this role, you will develop advanced technical and professional skills as you grow your clinical knowledge and judgement in performing ultrasound examinations across diverse patient groups and conditions. 

You will play a vital role in supporting the department’s commitment to excellence in patient care. In this role, you will bring:

  • Qualifications & Registration
    A recognised bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant health field that permits enrolment into an ASAR-accredited Medical Ultrasound program. You will be required to register as an Accredited Student Sonographer with ASAR.

    Demonstrated knowledge in the principles and practice of safety and quality in healthcare.

  • Communication & Teamwork
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, accept feedback, and engage professionally with patients and colleagues.
