About the Role:
As a Senior Speech Pathologist across the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, you will work in conjunction with other acute allied health staff members and other health professionals to optimise patient functional and health outcomes in this specialty area.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments and development of treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders, providing evidence-based interventions across acute and rehabilitation setting, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
The Senior Speech Pathologist Acute Services may provide professional leadership, guidance and coordination to support the NALHN Speech Pathology department and in collaboration with the Senior Manager of Speech Pathology.
To be eligible for this position, you must possess an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which enables full membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
