About the role

Lead clinical education and deliver specialist paediatric musculoskeletal and neurodevelopmental physiotherapy services at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Work closely with the Physiotherapy Manager and multidisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient care and student learning.

Key duties of the role

  • Lead and coordinate student clinical education programs in partnership with Adelaide University
  • Deliver specialist paediatric musculoskeletal and neurodevelopmental physiotherapy services
  • Manage a complex caseload and contribute to multidisciplinary patient care
  • Provide high-quality clinical teaching, assessment and feedback using adult learning principles
  • Drive placement quality improvement, research participation and evidence-based service development

Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and AHPRA registration
  • Extensive paediatric musculoskeletal and neurodevelopmental experience across 0–18 years
  • Strong clinical education capability, including student supervision and APP assessment
  • Proven ability to manage complex caseloads, deliver group/hydrotherapy, and use standardised tools (AIMS, HINE, Movement ABC, TGMD)
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning principles and evidence-based paediatric physiotherapy practice
