Step into a leadership role in Biomedical Engineering with SA Health’s Rural Support Service. As Technical Manager, you’ll oversee the delivery, maintenance, and compliance of critical biomedical devices and systems across the network, ensuring patient safety, operational efficiency, and innovation. This role offers the chance to lead a multidisciplinary team, manage complex biomedical projects, and contribute to cutting-edge healthcare technology in a dynamic environment. The role includes metro and regional travel, with occasional overnight stays to support services across South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team delivering remedial and preventative biomedical maintenance services.
  • Provide specialist technical expertise for complex biomedical equipment failures and high-priority projects.
  • Develop, review, and implement maintenance programs, operational processes, and compliance strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement, service innovation, and effective resource management across the network, including supporting metro and regional sites.
