Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced nursing care within primary health, contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies and programs that support positive client outcomes.
  • Maintain accountability for your own practice standards and for activities delegated to others.
  • Mentor, support, and guide less experienced nursing staff to foster skill development and high-quality practice.
  • Manage and contribute to allocated portfolios, negotiated to support both service needs and your professional growth and performance development plan.
  • Work collaboratively within the Community Health Nursing team to ensure responsive, person-centred care.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Nurse with at least 3 years’ full-time equivalent post-registration experience. You’ll bring demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice, strong clinical capability, and experience guiding and supporting student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.

To be successful, you must be registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold (or be eligible to hold) a current practising certificate. A commitment to professional development, quality service delivery, and collaborative practice is essential to thrive in this role.
