About the Role

As a Nurse Consultant-Mental Health ABIS Eastern team, you’ll lead safe, connected care, guide clinical practice and strengthen recovery-focused outcomes. You’ll shape standards, support nurses and drive key initiatives across our multidisciplinary team.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead clinical practice across the MHCP
  • Guide nurses and support sound clinical decisions
  • Drive projects that lift safety, quality and standards
  • Deliver education, counselling and group support
  • Build strong partnerships across the MHCP with NGOs, consumers and carers

About You

You’re a confident, compassionate mental health nurse who leads with expertise, collaboration and a strong commitment to safe, recovery-focused care. You bring the right qualifications, sound clinical judgement and the ability to guide practice, support others and influence positive change.

You’ll Bring

  • Current AHPRA registration and a Graduate Diploma (or equivalent) in Mental Health Nursing
  • Strong clinical leadership and change leadership capability
  • Skilled planning, delivering and evaluating MH nursing care
  • Confidence working autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of standards, legislation, recovery and safety frameworks
