About the Role

As a Claims Consultant, you will play a vital role in the management of workers' compensation claims within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). Reporting to the Manager of Work Health Safety & Injury Management (WHSIM), and under the guidance of the Team Leader Injury Management, you will ensure the provision of prompt, effective, and equitable services in line with the Return to Work Act 2014. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining compliance with accreditation standards and SA Health’s Injury Management guidelines.

In this role, you will be responsible for meeting key performance indicators and established targets, working collaboratively to ensure that workers’ compensation claims are handled efficiently and accurately. You will also be required to support auditing and verification processes, working in line with Return to Work SA, the Office for the Public Sector, and whole of Government strategies to ensure high standards of service delivery.   • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills to meet deadlines.
  • Extensive experience in workers’ compensation claims management.
  • Proven ability to analyse, negotiate, and resolve complex issues effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Return to Work Act 2014.
