About the Role:

As the Administrative Assistant within the Medical Services Team, you will provide efficient, confidential, and high-quality administrative support to the Manager of Medical Workforce and Medical Liaison Officers. Your responsibilities will include managing correspondence, coordinating meetings and committees, preparing agendas and minutes, and assisting with travel and roster arrangements. You will also support the Medical Education Unit with administrative processes related to interns and junior doctors. This role is ideal for a highly organised professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Working both independently and collaboratively, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of medical workforce operations within FUNLHN.

 

About You:

  • Proven experience in providing a confidential and professional administrative support service with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Experience in providing accurate and professional administrative services to Committees including minute taking, preparing agendas and other relevant material and attending to relevant action items.
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining effective office systems and procedures.
  • Experience in undertaking minor research projects, including the compilation of data and the preparation of briefing documents and summary reports.
