Lead Pharmacist – Pharmacy Projects:

Join the team at the Office of Chief Pharmacist and make a real impact on the health of South Australians. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the leadership of  programs and initiatives that drive statewide improvements in healthcare, medication safety, quality and cost-effectiveness. This includes current work on expanded scope of practice to support a sustainable health workforce.  In this key role, you will:

 

  • Drive statewide initiatives and reforms that strengthen our health system and improve health outcomes for communities across the state by improving medication safety, quality use of medicines, and pharmacy practice.

 

  • Lead transformative statewide pharmacy projects from concept to completion, ensuring consistent, successful delivery across a diverse project portfolio, with a current focus on advancing and expanding pharmacist scope of practice.

 

  • Shape the future of pharmacy services working with a dynamic team in the Office of the Chief Pharmacist in planning and delivering high-impact strategic projects that align with state priorities and contribute to national policy on complex and sensitive issues.

 

  • Provide policy advice, offering high-quality analysis and recommendations to the Chief Pharmacist, Chief Executive, Minister, and other senior leaders on critical medicine and pharmacy matters.

 

  • Champion excellence in analysis and decision-making, ensuring rigorous, evidence-based insights underpin all work undertaken by the Office of the Chief Pharmacist.
