Overview:

The Technical Manager Data Linkage at SA NT DataLink is responsible for:

  • The efficient operational management of the data linkage services, including the prioritisation and scheduling of linkage work.
  • The supervision and management of staff in the Data Linkage Unit involved in the preparation, linkage and clerical review of data, quality assurance checks, integrating linked data, project data extraction, handover reports and the security of the data.
  • Leading the unit’s critical security practices and providing expert advice and consultancy in matters relating to data security and technical aspects of the data linkage processes and protocols.

 

Use your leadership, management and technical skills to:

  • Manage SA NT DataLink's data linkage team in a confidential secure linkage environment.
  • Deliverer high quality linked health and other data for evidence-based research and policy evaluation.
  • Maintain the confidence of data custodians and the communities’ expectation as a trusted third party to protect the data and confidentiality.


Due to the confidential nature of this position, work is only on premises with the team in the SAHMRI Building, North Terrace.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
  • A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
