About the Role

Play a key part in CALHN’s rehabilitation services, helping clients regain strength, confidence and independence across inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory settings. You’ll deliver evidence-based care, support smooth transitions and build strong recovery pathways as part of our multidisciplinary team.

  • Plan goal-focused exercise programs with clients and teams
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based interventions across sites
  • Manage varied and at times complex rehab caseloads
  • Support early discharge and hospital-avoidance pathways
  • Guide AHAs/students and strengthen collaborative care

About You

You’re a collaborative, client-focused Exercise Physiologist who brings sound judgement, clear communication and a commitment to evidence-based rehab care. You work well in a team, stay organised and adapt to routine through to more complex presentations.

What You’ll Bring

  • Hold an ESSA-accredited Exercise Physiology degree
  • Apply safe clinical judgement appropriate to your level
  • Communicate clearly + document accurately
  • Use digital systems confidently

AHP1 Candidates

  • Grow clinical reasoning with guidance
  • Manage routine–moderate presentations
  • Seek feedback and build capability

AHP2 Candidates

  • Lead care for complex presentations
  • Support AHAs/students when required
  • Prioritise workloads and enhance service quality
