About the Role

The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network is seeking a motivated and highly organised Quality Risk Safety (QRS) Officer to support the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant health services across the region.

The QRS team supports the LHN to deliver the highest standards of patient care, safety, and compliance while minimising risk and enhancing EFNLHN’s overall performance and consumer experience. In this role, you will provide confidential administrative support, coordinate governance and accreditation activities, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives across the network.

EFNLHN is fully compliant with the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards, as well as other national assessment and accreditation requirements across its services. This position plays a key role in supporting ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.

This position is based in Port Lincoln, within the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network. Key Duties

  • Provide confidential and efficient administrative support to the Quality, Risk and Safety team.
  • Coordinate documentation, records management, and evidence to support accreditation readiness and compliance.
  • Support governance and QRS committee processes, including agenda preparation, minute taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Assist with audits, monitoring tools, reporting, and quality improvement activities.
  • Liaise with clinicians, managers, and stakeholders across EFNLHN to support safety and quality initiatives.
  • Support small projects, data collection, and preparation of reports and briefing papers.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with legislative, policy, and governance requirements.

About You

You are a highly organised and professional administrator who demonstrates:

  • Proven experience providing confidential administrative support in a complex or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
  • High-level organisational and time-management skills.
  • Experience supporting committees, including minute taking and document coordination.
  • An understanding of quality improvement principles, governance processes, or health system environments (desirable).
  • A commitment to culturally safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace practices.
