About the role

The ANUM supports the Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager to lead the WCH@Home service, delivering acute care in the home through visits and Telehealth. The role oversees daily clinical care, staff support and service coordination across the multidisciplinary team.

Key duties of the role

• Deliver safe, person-centred nursing/midwifery care in the home
• Monitor care plans and escalate issues to ensure optimal outcomes
• Lead staff on shift, guide junior team members and support patient flow
• Coordinate services, resolve care or service issues and support practice change
• Teach, mentor and support learning culture across the WCH@Home team

Skills and Experience

• Registered Nurse/Midwife with current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 3 years post-registration or current Clinical Nurse/Midwife
• Strong communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Solid knowledge of standards, legislation and quality improvement
