Join the dedicated team at Flinders Medical Centre as a Part-time Administration Officer you will have duties in our Transport Office and Corporate Nursing Office, where you will coordinate essential patient transport services and make a real difference in connecting patients with the medical care they need. About the role: 

Reporting to the Corporate Nursing Manager, some of your duties as the Transport and Nursing Administration Officer may involve: 

  • Checking accounts from transport providers for accuracy and forwarding to Office Manager for approval using Basware
  • Ensure intrastate transfers are booked for patients according to the Health Travel Guidelines
  • Order of supplies through Oracle
  • Ensure cost effective use of transport services
  • Liaises with transport companies and drivers/ FMC patients and public

About you:

  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications, the internet and patient booking systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people in a verbal and written manner
  • High level of organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in reconciling accounts
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
