About the Role

As a Senior Support Services Officer, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, safe and well-organised environment for both patients and staff. Working closely with the Team Leader Support Services and as part of a vibrant multidisciplinary team, you will support clinicians and contribute directly to high-quality patient care. Your day will be varied and rewarding—whether you are coordinating essential administrative tasks, ensuring smooth clinical workflows, or assisting with service delivery that enhances the patient experience.

In this senior role, you’ll bring warmth, professionalism and initiative to everything you do. You’ll be a trusted point of support for your colleagues, helping the team stay connected, efficient and focused on providing exceptional care. About You

You bring a blend of practical experience, professional qualifications and strong interpersonal skills that help you thrive in a busy care environment. You’re someone who works well with others, shows initiative, and can be relied on to provide exceptional support to both patients and colleagues.

  • Certificate III qualification plus substantial in-service experience in a care or support services environment

  • Strong teamwork, communication and rapport-building skills with people from diverse backgrounds

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and handle challenging situations with confidence

  • Sound knowledge of support services operations, customer service, safety requirements and relevant healthcare legislation
