About the role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care across a dynamic healthcare setting. This role provides the opportunity to develop from a novice practitioner to a highly proficient nurse, consolidating your knowledge and skills through hands-on experience and ongoing professional development. You will be responsible for assessing individual patient needs, planning and coordinating care, and delivering direct nursing services, while accepting accountability for your practice and the activities delegated to you.

In this position, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other agencies to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs. You will be involved in advanced nursing practices including intravenous therapy, diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitoring, escalation of care for deteriorating patients, and maintaining rigorous safety standards in line with Additional Precautions, Radiation, and MRI safety requirements. About You

You are a committed and compassionate Registered Nurse who brings clinical competence, effective communication skills, and a strong focus on patient-centred care. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Registered Nurse with current or eligible practising certificate, demonstrating competence in relevant nursing practice.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to problem-solve, resolve conflicts and collaborate across disciplines.

Ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively, while applying creative, flexible and innovative approaches to patient care.

Knowledge of healthcare standards, legislation and quality improvement systems, with a commitment to providing consumer- and family-centred care.
