About the Role

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a valued part in creating a positive, comfortable and high-quality food service experience that supports the wellbeing of patients across the Repat Rehabilitation Campus.

  • Support patients care every day through essential pantry and meal services
  • Guide patients with meal ordering and ensure menus meet their dietary needs
  • Prepare, plate and present meals with care, accuracy and pride
  • Keep our kitchen and service areas clean, safe and welcoming
  • Help manage stock, follow food-safety standards and flag any issues early
  • Enjoy a supportive, team-focused environment with a flexible 7-day roster

About You

You’re a reliable, team-focused person who takes pride in delivering safe, friendly and efficient food services that support patient care every day.

  • Communicate clearly, stay organised and work calmly under time pressures
  • Use sound numeracy and food-safety knowledge to support accurate meal service
  • Bring experience in catering or food service, ideally in a healthcare setting
  • Show commitment to quality, customer service and safe, hygienic practice
