- Casual working over a 7-day roster up to 16 November 2026
Take on an essential support role where you’ll ensure the smooth running of catering, housekeeping, and laundry services across the health unit. As a Services Assistant, you’ll play a key part in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors, contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. This role provides hands-on experience in a dynamic, community-focused healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide catering services, including preparing, plating, and delivering meals, and assisting clients with menu selections.
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, carpet shampooing, window cleaning, and maintaining a safe and tidy environment.
- Undertake laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and distributing linen, uniforms, and client clothing.
- Operate and maintain equipment safely, including washing machines, ovens, and other machinery, and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with stock management, minor food preparation, and material resource handling in line with unit requirements.
- Follow instructions, support team members, and contribute to the efficient operation of the health unit.
- Undertake training to maintain skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
