  • Ongoing working 64 hours per fortnight over a 7-day roster

The Client Services Assistant - Security Orderly position offers the opportunity to work closely with patients, staff, and visitors, making a real difference in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the safety and security of clients, staff, and visitors in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Provide support services including cleaning, catering, portering, and general patient assistance.
  • Assist with the management of aggressive, agitated, or violent clients, using appropriate strategies to ensure safe outcomes.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the health unit by providing timely, practical, and flexible assistance across a range of duties.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Do you have experience in security roles, with the ability to manage conflict safely and professionally?
  • Are you confident in dealing with a wide range of people, including clients who may be aggressive or agitated?
  • Do you have experience in providing support services, including cleaning, catering, and patient care, within a healthcare or related environment?
  • Are you able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and follow clear instructions while contributing to a team?
