Physiotherapist - Wallaroo Generalist and Rehabilitation Positions

Join SA Health's Yorke and Northern Local Health Network and make a meaningful difference in rural healthcare. We're seeking an experienced Physiotherapists for our Wallaroo Community Health, serving the Wallaroo community until 30 June 2027.

About the Opportunity

AHP1 – Physiotherapist
Under the direct supervision of an experienced Physiotherapist, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services tailored to the needs of the local community. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside health professionals and external service providers, you will utilise a mix of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches. These full-time and part-time temporary contract positions offer an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills while delivering quality physiotherapy services across generalist and rehabilitation settings.

AHP2 – Physiotherapist
At the AHP2 level, you will apply your clinical expertise across generalist and rehabilitation settings while working with reduced supervision. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver comprehensive physiotherapy services to meet local community needs, contribute to service development and quality improvement, and provide support and mentoring to junior staff and students as required. Full-time and part-time temporary contract positions are available.

Blessed by nature and embraced by sea, the Yorke Peninsula offers stunning beaches and friendly coastal towns, while inland are historic mining villages and spectacular national parks. You will find magnificent beaches and jagged shorelines, friendly locals and rich farmland.

The largest health service for this region is based in Wallaroo, with outreach provided to the Copper coast and Southern Yorke Peninsula including Moonta, Kadina, Maitland, Point Pearce, Minlaton and Yorketown (max 1.5hr drive from Wallaroo).
