About the role

As an Administration Officer within the Radiology Unit, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services that operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will provide high-quality administrative support to assist the team in delivering timely, accurate and patient-centred care. Reporting to the Administration Coordinator and Administration Manager, your role is essential to maintaining seamless daily operations and contributing to a positive experience for both staff and patients.

In this role, you’ll work closely with radiographers, clinical staff and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including SA Health employees, government agencies, contractors and members of the public. You will be part of a collaborative team environment where professionalism, communication and reliability are valued. About You

You will be an organised, customer-focused team player who can deliver reliable administrative support in a busy, people-centred environment.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage courteously and professionally with staff and the public, maintain confidentiality, and remain calm under pressure.

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, produce high-volume work accurately, and adapt positively to change.

  • Experience in customer service and administrative support, including data entry, secretarial tasks and proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Sound understanding of customer service principles, administrative practices, and a commitment to Equal Opportunity, Work Health & Safety and high personal and professional standards.
