About the Role

Join the Youth Cancer Service SA/NT to provide expert psychological care to adolescents and young adults, collaborate across health services, and support better patient outcomes.

  • Deliver specialist psychology care across hospitals and community services

  • Build strong relationships with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams

  • Support and guide young people through cancer treatment and recovery

  • Collaborate with staff across SA, NT and national health networks

  • Develop programs and initiatives to enhance patient wellbeing and care

About You

Bring your expertise in clinical psychology to support adolescents and young adults with cancer, collaborating across teams to deliver meaningful care.

  • Hold a master’s in clinical or health psychology and PsyBA registration

  • Deliver psychological assessment, treatment and evaluation confidently

  • Apply specialist skills to resolve complex clinical problems

  • Collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams across services

  • Understand the impact of health issues on individuals and families
