About the Role

Miroma Hostel in Cummins is offering an opportunity to join our team as a Residential Aged Care Trainee on a 24-month contract. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or develop a career in aged care while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive residential setting.

As a Direct Care Worker (Residential), you will assist in providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents, supporting their daily living needs while working closely with nurses, allied health professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team. We offer structured training, on-the-job support and the opportunity to build practical skills while making a meaningful difference in residents’ lives.

Key Duties

  • Assist residents with daily living activities including personal care and mobility
  • Support a clean, safe and comfortable living environment for residents
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care
  • Participate in training and skill development to build your capability in aged care
