About the Role

As an Operational Services Officer in our Pre-Analytical Services team, you’ll play a vital part in supporting high-quality diagnostic care for patients across our network. In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, professional customer service during specimen management activities, ensuring every patient feels supported and respected. You’ll also contribute to the smooth day-to-day functioning of the team by assisting with administrative duties and confidently navigating Laboratory Information Systems.

Your keen attention to detail will shine as you receive, sort and prepare specimens for testing, ensuring each sample meets strict quality standards for accurate and timely diagnosis. You’ll oversee the correct storage and transport of specimens, manage internal and external enquiries with professionalism, and ensure patient information is entered clearly and accurately into laboratory systems. Working as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team, you’ll help deliver safe, reliable and efficient pre-analytical services that truly make a difference.
