With the opening of our new Cardiac Outpatient Clinic at Modbury Hospital in March 2026, you’ll be part of a team expanding access to world-class cardiac care for the northern Adelaide community.

About the Role:

As a Senior Cardiac Physiologist, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic testing and device management for cardiac patients.
  • Support the strategic direction of cardiology services at Modbury Hospital.
  • Assist in complex procedures, including electrophysiology and advanced echocardiography.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to education and research within the Cardiology Unit.

To be eligible for this position, you must be appropriately qualified and accredited in either Cardiac Sonography, or Cardiac Electrophysiology, or equivalent - please review the minimum essential qualifications within the Role Description for specific details. 

About You:

You’re a highly skilled professional with technical expertise spanning advanced echocardiography—including stress and transoesophageal—stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, and the ability to interrogate and program pacemakers, defibrillators, and other implantable devices.
 
You’re confident assisting with cardiac catheterisation, coronary angiography, and electrophysiology procedures. Beyond your technical skills, you’re a natural leader who enjoys mentoring junior staff and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, always striving for innovation and patient-centred care.
 
Analytical, reliable, and detail-oriented, you bring a passion for excellence and a willingness to contribute to research and development initiatives.
