About the role

The Executive Assistant, SCSS provides effective and high level liaison, executive and administrative support to the Finance Director, SCSS and Director of Workforce, SCSS as well as contributes to the delivery of high quality administration support to the SCSS Executive Office.

Duties include the provision of effective and efficient confidential administrative including diary management, preparation of Ministerial, Chief Executive (CE) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) briefings, preparation of agendas and minutes, data collection and analysis and providing assistance with the resolution of complex and sensitive issues. The Executive Assistant assists the Executive Services Coordinator/Office Manager in the effective management of the SCSS Executive Office staff workloads, including appropriate supervision and guidance and provides support to the Group Executive Director (GED), SCSS in the absence of the Executive Services Coordinator/Office Manager.

The Executive Assistant. SCSS provides support to the Briefing Officer, SCSS. Duties include coordination of all correspondence including Briefings, Parliamentary, Ministerial, Chief Executive (CE) and Chief Executive Officers (CEO’s), Local Health Networks (LHNs) responses for the SCSS Executive Office in accordance with agreed standards of quality and timeliness including appropriate recording and monitoring. Management of the SCSS Executive Office email enquiry inbox including both internal and external correspondence to ensure timely distribution and preparation of responses to meet deadlines
