About the role

As the Supervisor Radiographer – General, you will play a pivotal leadership role in delivering a high-quality, responsive general medical imaging service. You will coordinate daily workflows, allocate resources and set work priorities to ensure operational standards are consistently met, while balancing service demands and the needs of patients across a diverse clinical environment.

Working closely with the Head of General, you will contribute to the effective management of physical and human resources and support a cohesive, well-functioning team. You will also provide advanced diagnostic imaging services, utilising specialised equipment to perform complex examinations across a range of clinical specialties, exercising a high level of professional judgement with minimal supervision.

About You

You are an experienced and motivated radiographer with strong leadership capability, advanced clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality imaging services within a dynamic healthcare environment.

  • Appropriately qualified and registered, holding licensure under the Radiation Protection and Control Act (SA) and recognised accreditation/registration in Diagnostic Radiography with the relevant professional body

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise teams, allocate workloads, manage priorities and contribute to rostering, quality assurance and policy or protocol development

  • Extensive experience across general imaging, including specialised and complex Mobiles and Theatre procedures, applying advanced professional judgement with a high level of independence

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships, support staff development and uphold best practice, WHS and medico-legal responsibilities
