About the Role:

As a Midwife (MW1 or RN/MW1), you’ll work across the full scope of midwifery practice, providing supervision to students and other healthcare staff while maintaining strong relationships within the team and with external partners.

As a Clinical Midwife (MW2C or RN/MW2C), you’ll play a key leadership role, supporting and supervising less experienced staff, while working closely with senior team members to provide advanced midwifery care. You'll also have the opportunity to take on portfolio responsibilities as part of your career development.

What We’re Looking For:

RN/M1

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of midwifery practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.

RN/M2C

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of midwifery practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
  • Experience in the leadership and direction of student midwives and less experienced registered midwives.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
