Join Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service as the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager – Medical Ward including Drug & Alcohol Withdrawal. This ongoing part-time role (0.2 FTE / 8 hours per week) offers a unique opportunity to provide clinical and operational leadership within a dynamic medical ward environment that includes specialist care for patients undergoing drug and alcohol withdrawal.

Based in the heart of the Limestone Coast, this role allows you to combine senior leadership with an exceptional regional lifestyle. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care, while supporting and leading a skilled multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Medical Ward, including Drug & Alcohol Withdrawal services
  • Support safe, high-quality, evidence-based care and effective patient flow
  • Lead, support and develop nursing/midwifery staff, fostering a positive team culture
  • Contribute to quality improvement, risk management and service development initiatives

Applicant Information

Salary: $125,183 - $130,779 p.a (pro rata) + Salary Packaging Benefits + Leave Loading + Superannuation

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
